CISA added a Langflow AI agent framework vulnerability to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, meaning federal agencies must patch it and private-sector organizations should treat it as a critical priority. Langflow is a popular open-source tool for building and deploying AI agent workflows. Active exploitation in the wild means attackers are already using this flaw to compromise systems. For defense subs running AI-augmented processes in cleared environments, an unpatched Langflow instance is a compliance and security liability. For commercial SMBs experimenting with AI agents, this is a wake-up call that open-source AI tooling carries real attack surface.

Within the next ninety days, at least two major cloud or AI platform providers will issue advisories or patches addressing Langflow-related vulnerabilities, and CISA will add at least one additional AI or ML framework vulnerability to its KEV catalog, by October thirteen, 2026. This resolves if by August 2025, at least two providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or major AI tooling vendors have published security advisories referencing Langflow, and CISA’s KEV catalog contains at least one additional AI or ML agent framework entry added after this Langflow listing.
