ACTTwo SonicWall SMA 1000 Zero-Days Exploited, One Could Enable Admin Commands

SonicWall disclosed two actively exploited zero-day vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-15409, CVSS 10.0, and CVE-2026-15410, CVSS 7.2) in its SMA1000 enterprise VPN appliances, which can be chained to achieve unauthenticated root-level command execution. Volexity traced exploitation back to June 22 and linked it to threat actor UTA0533 who installed custom persistent malware; CISA added both CVEs to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog with a federal patch deadline of July 17.
